A-1 Concrete Leveling & Foundation Repair was started in 1982 by Grover Miller with the idea of providing customers a lower cost alternative to replacing concrete slabs when they settle. Grover's experience working on the industrial side of the concrete industry lifting dams, highways, barges, airline runways and roadways gave him the idea to create a system that would fit on a smaller truck, offering flexible concrete repair solutions.
Grover's vision and desire to create a leveling system that could be used in residential areas was realized after hours spent working in his barn adding and changing parts until the system was perfected. That vision has resulted in a patented piece of equipment that has set A-1 Concrete Leveling apart from any other company in the industry. Twenty-five years later, Grover's vision has resulted in the largest concrete leveling company in the country.
A-1 Concrete Leveling & Foundation Repair Greater Chicago Division was started in 2001 and was the first concrete leveler in the area. Serving over 9 counties including Kane, Dupage, Cook, Kendall, Will, Dekalb and LaSalle. A-1 Concrete Leveling & Foundation Repair was acquired by Brian Jager President and CEO and Richard Jager Director of Operations of the Greater Chicago Division.
The Chicagoland Division has over 9 years under the current ownership. A-1 Concrete Leveling & Foundation Repair of Chicago has successfully completed over 2700 concrete leveling projects ranging from raising a concrete sidewalk slab to raising an entire house through the use of the patented piering system as well as to straightening a bowed basement walls. The process has saved customers in the Chicagoland area hundreds of thousands of dollars which has “Helped Raise The Area to Higher Ground” and That’s why we are known as America’s Largest Concrete Leveler.
